Well, it is a fact that there a huge number of families in India who does not have a proper financial background. They even struggle to meet with the basic requirement of everyday life. And this situation is not only just because of lack of finances. But proper education, unemployment and the degrading economic condition has led to such an extent. And this is the reason the government of India has decided to take a stand to deal with such an emerging crisis of our country. The Madhya Pradesh Government has recently launched a program called Parivar Sahayata Yojana. This scheme has been formatted for helping out the poor families. And especially for those families whose head of the member or the earning member has passed away. This is one of the welfare schemes of MP Panchayat and Social Justice Department.

Objective of this scheme

The sole purpose of this scheme is to offer financial support to the families that do not have the proper financial requirement to sustain daily lives. Especially those families will be given priority whose head of the family has died and the means of earning has stopped for them.

Eligibility criteria for attaining benefits from Rashtriya Parivar Sahayata Yojana

To be eligible for the financial aid from RPS Yojana, you need to maintain the following:

The families should be enrolled within the BPL category authorized by the central government. And if the head of the family has died, which has resulted in the stop of earning.

The age limit of the individual attaining for RPY scheme be within 18 to 59 years.

And he/she must be the only earning member of the family.

What benefits shall be provided and what are the documents necessary?

A total amount of Rs 20000 shall be provided after the demise of the head of the family who was the earning member. And the documents needed are the death certificate of the head of the family, postmortem report, and the BPL identity card. The post mortem report is necessary considering so much criminal activities and to prove that the death of the family member was a natural one.

Who should be contacted?

The local Zonal office of Municipal Corporation needs to be contacted at the Yojana Office, apart from that Mayor Residence at Jabalpur Municipal Corporation is also another place of contact. Also the Joint Director Panchayat and Social Justice, the DRDA office at Jabalpur can also be contacted.
