Key Features Of the Sports Talent Hunt
Provide Suitable Platform For Hidden Talent –
The scheme has been launched with the main focus on providing a proper opportunity for hidden talent in the country. By providing them a suitable platform, they can fulfill their dreams and exercises their choice both in the national and international level.
Training is given to students –
As per the scheme rules, training will be given to beneficiaries. However, for the training session, a total of 1000 student will be selected.
Scholarship Benefit –
As scholarship amount, beneficiary students will get rupees 500000. However, this beneficiary amount will be given to beneficiaries yearly for the next 8 years. By this financial help, the students can get proper training in sports according to their interest.
Who can eligible for the national talent hunt program ?
Age Criteria –
Any Indian student who is living in India and belonging to the age group of 8 to 12 years can opt for scheme benefits. However, only the candidates who have taken part and passed physical efficiency and sports aptitude test can get scheme benefits.
Caste Criteria –
Students belonging to any caste in India can apply under the scheme. Besides, there is no limit on the annual income of the family, and therefore, students belonging to any community can become part of the scheme.
Candidates belonging to any state –
Players from any Indian state can register under the scheme. Therefore, candidates can get forms both in Hindi and English, including other regional languages. So, when filling the online application, they can choose the language as per convenience and select the form.
Chance For Disqualified beneficiary –
When any student is unable to register for the scheme or they are considered disqualified under the scheme, they can again opt for registration after six months.
